CREDIT CARD & MEAL POLICIES
Most municipalities have been confronted at one point or another with a request to obtain an organization credit card. Some municipalities have credit cards and some do not. This discussion will focus on the policies that have been put in place to govern credit card usage that help ensure operational and legal compliance.
Similarly, as cities and towns are expected to increase community engagement, there is increasing demand to purchase meals to support community engagement events. This session will include a discussion of policies that municipalities have put in place to govern meal purchases for community engagement events and staff professional developments.
