Thayer Homestead is a completely renovated 19th-century historic farmhouse with a brand new attached open-space addition, available to rent for meetings, functions, and social events. The facility is located at 2B Oak Street, just off Route 109 in Medway, MA.
The Thayer Homestead is set next to a huge beech tree on an expansive lawn and features a scenic view of picturesque Choate Park and Pond. The function space is comprised of two adjoining parts: the new open-concept addition, Thayer Hall, and the renovated country farmhouse, featuring the Homestead Suite. Thayer Hall features an open-concept function room with an industrial modern decor of glass and wood. The Homestead Suite features two charming rooms in the original 19th-century farmhouse.
This event facility is owned and operated by the Town of Medway, overseen by a Governance Committee, and managed by an on-site Resident Manager (RM), who is available by email or phone to answer questions and conduct tours by appointment.
