We invite you to attend an overview and tour of Braintree’s electric operation.
Topics to include
An overview of the municipal electric market.
How municipal light departments buy electricity?
How BELD is paid for its availability and sells electricity it generates back to the grid?
Discuss the proposed new plant and the obstacles and projected time frame
Our Tour guide will be: Bill Bottiggi, General Manager of Braintree’s Electric Light Plant

Please wear solid sole shoes (no sneakers or high heals) (session limited to 24 attendees)
Session 2: (12:00-2:30)
Lunch and a round table with Sean R. Cronin, Senior Deputy Commissioner of Local Services, to discuss the Muncipal Modernization Bill.
