    The Town of Winchester's Treasurer/Collector's Office the following vacancy:  ASSISTANT TREASURER/COLLECTOR

     (Full-time 35 hours/week)

    Under the general supervision of the Treasurer/Collector, this role performs accounting and financial duties and operations to maintain account records for all Town monies. Responsible for performing accounting functions in the collection of Real Estate, Motor Vehicle Excise, Personal Property Tax and Water Accounts and maintaining records. Responsible for the reconciliation of all Town Bank Accounts and accounts receivable to the General Ledger. Responsible for monitoring and directing clerical staff in all Department functions. Function independently to achieve Departmental goals and objectives within scope of specific position responsibilities.

    Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or related field preferred. Must have a minimum of 4 years municipal or related experience and 4 years of supervisory experience. Must have experience with financial software, preferably Munis. MCTA Certification preferred. Must be bondable. A complete job description can be found here:

    Full salary range is $65,661 – $93,047.
