In direct support of Mayoral goals, and consistent with the objectives of the City of Bridgeport, our mission and responsibilities are to provide management and budget guidance that empowers departments to achieve their desired outcomes through the efficient and effective deployment of resources. This office prepares and reviews the City’s budget, guides the system for performance management and oversees the implementation of management improvement projects.
Salary and Benefits: $151,605.00 - $166,761.00 - Salary for this position is established per Bridgeport Municipal Ordinance 2.36, “Executive Appointed Officials, grade 8”. Salary shall be subjected to across-the-board cost of living increases anticipated to include: (1) 3% effective July 1, 2026 ($156,153.00 - $171,764.00).
