The Town of Foxborough is seeking a qualified, detail-oriented professional to serve as our next Treasurer–Collector. Foxborough is a collaborative, team-oriented municipality committed to strong financial stewardship and responsive public service.
This position oversees the Town’s treasury and revenue collection functions, including cash management, investments, debt administration, payroll oversight, and compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage municipal collections, deposits, and reconciliations
- Oversee cash flow, investments, and fund management
- Administer short- and long-term debt, including bond issuances
- Supervise payroll processing and related reporting
- Assist taxpayers and manage tax title, liens, and collections
- Maintain accurate financial records, internal controls, and audit readiness
- Supervise Treasurer–Collector office staff and provide excellent customer service
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of five years of municipal finance supervisory experience
- CMMC and/or CMMT certification preferred
- Experience with Munis or similar financial software a plus
- Ability to become bonded
Salary & Benefits
$99,096.48 (Step 1) – $120,749.04 (Step 11; 15-Year Step) annually (Grade 9 on Fiscal Year 2026 Non-Union Managerial Pay Plan). Excellent benefits package, 70/30 employer/employee health insurance split, and participation in the Norfolk County Retirement System.
