    The Town of Newbury is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the full time (35 hrs/wk) position of Assistant Town Accountant. Under the direction of the Town Accountant, the Assistant Town Accountant is a key member of the town’s financial team. Responsibilities include the maintenance of accounting records in accordance with Massachusetts statutes and Town Bylaws. See Town website for full job description.

    Duties require skills equivalent to an Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, 1-3 years experience in municipal accounting or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
