The Town of Lincoln New Hampshire, with a year-round residential population of approx. 1600 and a peak seasonal population of 15,000 is seeking an experienced Finance administrator to serve as its next Finance Director. Lincoln is located along the I-93 corridor at the foot of New Hampshire’s White Mountains just an hour north of Concord. The year-round recreational opportunities, including the Loon Mountain Resort, set this community apart from other small quintessential New England communities. Administering the finances of the Town with an operating budget of $7 mil, the Finance Director is responsible for financial and administrative work in planning, organizing, coordinating and directing the accounting and financial aspects of the Town. This work includes, audit preparation, policy and procedure compliance, internal controls, state reporting requirements and state and federal accounting compliance. Associates degree in accounting with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates likely success in the position. Salary range to $68,000; starting salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position will be enrolled in the State Retirement System and the Town offers an excellent benefit package.
