This wide-ranging Department Head role, supporting and working closely with the Assistant Town Manager of Administration & Finance, offers a unique opportunity to work across the financial spectrum organization, allowing the successful candidate to acquire new skills, and hone in on already established abilities.
This role is available after the incumbent of 35 years has been promoted to the newly created position of Assistant Town Manager of Administration & Finance. Work Hours & Benefits
The Town Accountant works within the Shrewsbury Town Hall within an enclosed office in the Accounting Office. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM with a daily one-hour lunch break, and other hours as needed. Salary Range - $87,342.48-$122,291.39
Hiring Range - $87,342.48-$102,500.00
