The Town of Foxborough seeks a qualified, highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Administrator. The position requires competence in the bidding process and bid documents; and a working knowledge of budgets and reporting requirements under Massachusetts General Law.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional administrative, customer service and communication skills, and be an adept professional in the procurement and disposition of supplies, services, and real property.
Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree in business, finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred; at least two years related experience in municipal purchasing, finance, or accounting; or any relevant combination of education and experience; Certification as a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official preferred, or receipt of same within one (1) year of hire is required. Proficiency in MS Office required. Municipal experience and proficiency in Munis is preferred.
