The City of Lowell is seeking qualified, experienced, and energetic candidates for the position of Deputy Director-Finance within the Health & Human Services Department. This position reports to the Health & Human Services Director and is responsible for the day to day administration of the financial and administrative services including business management, grant management, budget, payroll, accounts payable and general services. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance/business admin or related field; working knowledge of accounting principles and MA state and federal rules and regulations, knowledge of grant management and financial reporting; Minimum of 3 yrs experience preferably with managerial responsibilities; Highly proficient in computer programs preferred. The salary ranges from $66,844.44 (min) to $78,459.16 (max) annually.
